Check out these Abandoned houses in detroit!

they disappear behind ivy or the untended shrubs and trees planted generations ago to decorate their yards. The wood that framed the rooms gets crushed by trees rooted still in the earth. The burnt lime, sand, gravel, and plaster slowly erode into dust, encouraged by ivy spreading tentacles in its endless search for more sunlight.

Old cartoons my new obsession!

The kurt cobain of japanese Art

I have always been obsessed with nagi noda ever since i saw her poodle exercise video
Among her works are the video for Japanese singer Yuki's song "Sentimental Journey". Other works include direction of a television advertisement for Coca-Cola (with music by Jack White), collaboration with Medicom Toy to produce Nagi Noda Be@rbrick and the video for "Hearts On Fire" by Cut Copy, it was the last music video she made.

Nagi died on September 7, 2008 , at age 35, after surgical complications from injuries sustained in a traffic accident the previous year.

she may have died young but the small part of what she has left will really stay as she was way ahead of her time.

This battery is as weird as it is totally cool. The NoPoPo Battery charges with almost any liquid out there, from water to beer to cola to....wait for it...human urine! That's right, come the apocolypse, your drinking water can also power your flashlight. Charging the NoPoPo is simple: just suck your liquid of choice up with the syringe, then squeeze it into the battery. Besides being incredibly handy, the NoPoPo batteries are also good for the earth, with 100% non-toxic materials and a ten-year shelf life.

Boglins were rubbery hand puppets that resembled small monsters, goblins and aquatic creatures. The Boglins were part of the "monster creatures" craze during the late nineteen eighties, which included Ghoulies, Critters, Ghost busters, and Gremlins. Generally, the Boglin puppet was aimed at small children (boys in particular) from eight to eleven, as they were popularly used for frightening others, but have become valuable collectibles in recent years.
I am in the process of collecting some of these little fuckers on eBay.As i want to use them in a music video,so far the boglin tally is 2!
ill keep you posted on my hunt.

'suicide forest'

Aokigahara Forest is known for two things in Japan: breathtaking views of Mount Fuji and suicides. Also called the Sea of Trees, this destination for the desperate is a place where the suicidal disappear, often never to be found in the dense forest.

It has been claimed by local residents and visitors that the woods are host to a great amount of paranormal phenomena

Since the 1950s, more than 500 people have lost their lives in the forest, mostly suicides,

with approximately 30 suicides counted yearly.

In 2002, 78 bodies were found within the forest, replacing the previous record of 73 in 1998

The high rate of suicide has led officials to place signs in the forest, urging those who have gone there to commit suicide to seek help and not kill themselves. The annual search, consisting of a small army of police, volunteers and attendant journalists, began in 1970.[5]

Aside from those intending to die there, the dense forest and rugged inaccessibility has attracted thrill seekers. Many of these hikers mark their routes by leaving colored plastic tapes behind, causing concerns from prefectural officials for the ecosystem of the forest.

Feed the Facebank! The Facebank Dodeka is the coolest piggy-bank we've ever seen, bar none, and is the large-size version of the orignal Facebank. Put coins in the Dodeka's mouth, and he slowly eats them, with cartoony-but-lifelike movement that will make you wonder if he's actually alive. His huge coin resovoir has enough space for months of deposits, and his seamless motorized face and sounds will keep you coming back to feed him over and over.
